Northern Gritstone appoints Eve Howarth as Co-Investor and Capital Manager

Northern Gritstone, the investment business focused on science and technology-enabled businesses in the North of England, today announces it has appointed Eve Howarth as its Co-Investor and Capital Manager.

Eve joins from Lazard where she worked in its real estate and venture teams. Her experience includes Assura's £250m 20:80 joint venture with the Universities Superannuation Scheme, Pragmatic's £182m Series D capital raise and Northern Gritstone's £312m first close capital raise.

Eve will manage the relationships with Northern Gritstone’s growing co-investor community who have already supported Northern Gritstone’s 30 investments to date into early-stage companies.

Prior to Lazard, Eve participated in Deloitte’s University Scholar Scheme program in both its Corporate Tax and M&A Transaction Services (TS) teams.
